The Fairfield Flash had no problem beating the Cozumel Beaches, 12-3, at Bar Habor Stadium. Jonas Mendez, who is tied for 3rd in the RAAA in triples with 4, led the onslaught. He went 3 for 4 with a triple and 2 singles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for Fairfield. The win went to Josh Sills in relief, making him now 4-1. Ricky Rocker took the loss for Cozumel. With the win, Fairfield goes to 37-32, while the Beaches fall to 34-33.

With two out in the top of the first, Nick Frenz put Fairfield in front, 1-0, with a run-scoring single. The Flash went on to win the ballgame.

"We lit up the scoreboard," said Fairfield manager Edward Batkin.
