State College Swallowtails starter Sam Haydon pitched his team past the Albuquerque Cacti in 13 innings, 2-1. Jay Clayton snagged the win in relief. The left-hander allowed 1 run on 1 hit over 4 innings. He's now 1-0 on the season. Randy McCafferty closed the game out for State College, earning his 2nd save.

Lewis Yafeu came through with a big-time hit for State College. The right fielder smacked a solo home run in the top of the 13th inning to give his team the lead, 2-1. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"I like the grit of this ballclub," Yafeu said.

State College occupies 6th place in the RCL AAA Bobby Cox Division at 32-36.
