The Albuquerque Cacti picked up a win at The Ice Box, dropping the Minneapolis Freeze, 4-1. Jason McConville, who is tied for 4th in the RAAA with a 1.22 WHIP, was the difference-maker. McConville, the winner, moves to 3-2. He threw 7.2 innings of 1-hit ball, while fanning 3 and giving up 2 walks. The third-place Cacti improved to 43-37.

Kyle Sells had a direct impact on the outcome. Sells contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the sixth inning to put Albuquerque up, 1-0.
