Jacksonville Makes It 8 Straight with 7-5 Win
The Jacksonville Pilots overcame a pretty good performance by San Francisco catcher Elijah Tapps, beating the Earthquakes, 7-5, at Golden Gate Park. Tapps went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. The Earthquakes fall to 11-14 and continue their uninspiring start to the 2065 season.

Jacksonville used the timely hitting of Fernando Arellano to seize the win. The first baseman stroked a 2-run single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Pilots on top, 7-5. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"We've been playing some good baseball," Arellano told the Jacksonville Daily News. "We're aggressive and focused on what we're going to do on the field and getting it done."
