Calgary got a strong outing from Joe Blevins as the Hitmen defeated the Minneapolis Freeze, 5-1, at Mckinley Park. Eric Lewis was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 20 of 24 save opportunities. The Hitmen now have a record of 55-26 with the win over Minneapolis.

Blevins, who was born in Salisbury, North Carolina, delivered a quality start for Calgary. The 6-foot-1 left-hander allowed 1 earned run on 6 hits over 8 innings of work.
