Castlerock Field was the site for Thurman Munson League action featuring the Maple Marauders and Walnut Creek Warriors.

Walnut Creek shortstop Mario Rodriguez helped his team beat the Maple Marauders, 12-5. Rodriguez went 2 for 4 for the Warriors. Walnut Creek goes to 16-8 with the win.

With Walnut Creek leading 3-2 in the bottom of the sixth, Rodriguez hit a curveball from Paul Blevins for a grand slam home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Warriors ahead, 7-2.

"It was great to come out and swing the bats," Rodriguez told the Walnut Creek Gazette.
