Frank Frisby, who is tied for 4th in the TAAA in strikeouts with 81, was locked in. The right-hander led the Amarillo Armadillos to a 2-0 win against the State College Swallowtails at Stars Field. Frisby got the win, improving to 8-3. He gave up 2 hits and walked 2 over 6.2 innings. He allowed no runs. Mike Batten earned the save, his 2nd in 2 tries.

Amarillo used a clutch at-bat from Sean Johnson to capture the win. The left fielder hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Armadillos ahead, 2-0. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"Throwing strikes was the main thing," Frisby said.

Amarillo has now won 3 straight, while the Swallowtails have lost 4 in a row.
