Earthquakes Deal Butterflies 12-11 Loss
The San Francisco Earthquakes defeated the Pennsylvania Butterflies in 11 innings, 12-11, in part because of catcher Elijah Tapps. Tapps slugged 3 home runs. He drove in 6 runs and scored three times for the Earthquakes. The victory makes San Francisco 10-14.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the 11th. With one out, Tapps hit a changeup from Randy McCafferty for a solo home run. The Earthquakes, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"We battled our tails off to get this win," said San Francisco manager Zayar Adelabu.
