Cowboys Come Back Late, Nip Caterpillars
The Calgary Cowboys wanted a good start from Garrett Frankel -- and he delivered one. The result was a 1-0 Calgary win over the Peoria Caterpillars at Excavatar Park. Picking up the save was 24-year old right-handed pitcher Roberto Mendez. Calgary now sits at 48-36, while Peoria falls to 45-39.

Calgary took a 1-0 lead on David Jankowski's 12th home run of the season. The solo home run, which Jankowski hit in the top of the eighth, left Peoria pitcher Martin Mercier visibly frustrated.

"I was just taking it batter by batter, just enjoying the moment," said Frankel.
