Beaches Take Tight Tangle
Cozumel registered a win at Bar Habor Stadium by beating the Pasadena Bumblebees, 3-2. Pitcher David Harkey was one reason why the Beaches triumphed. Brandon Hubacek earned the save for Cozumel, his 14th of the year. The win hiked the Cozumel record to 37-36.

The game was at a stalemate until shortstop Jalen Buchanan came to bat in the bottom of the eighth. Facing Pasadena pitcher Hicham Munoru, he hit a 1-1 fastball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Cozumel on top, 3-2.

"It was a good effort all around," said Harkey.
