The Dallas Texans did just enough to sneak past the Eureka Hornets, 6-5, at Metroplex Park. Dallas catcher Art Finn, in particular, had a standout performance. The save went to Chris Nugent, his 6th this season. Dallas is still hoping to get on a roll. The win is just their 10th in 25 games.

Finn had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the eighth. On a 0-1 changeup from Jason Leffert, he banged a 3-run home run to center, giving the Texans a 6-4 lead. It was the 2nd home run of the year for Finn.

"Art is still learning," said Texans manager Lester Burrow. "The sky's the limit for him."
