Bowling Green picked up a win at Durham Bulls Athletic Park, bumping off the Fairfield Flash, 5-4. Pitcher David Naranjo was a major reason the Racers emerged victorious. Naranjo got the win, improving to 5-5. He gave up 4 hits and walked 4 over 6 innings. He allowed no runs. The Racers now own a record of 44-40.

Bowling Green used a well-timed hit by Diego Olivarez to capture the win. The first baseman socked a 2-run double in the top of the fifth inning to put the Racers ahead, 3-0. Though it was his only hit in 5 at-bats, it was important.
