Maguire, Freeze March to 9-4 Victory
Minneapolis shortstop Mike Maguire contributed significantly to his team's 9-4 win over the Pasadena Bumblebees. Maguire, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2058 draft, went 2 for 3 with 2 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Freeze. The Freeze now have a record of 47-49 with the win over Pasadena.

With Minneapolis leading 1-0 in the top of the first, Maguire hit a fastball from George White for a grand slam home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Freeze ahead, 5-0.

"We didn't pitch good, and when you don't pitch good, you lose," said Pasadena manager David Williams.
