Wind Come Back Late to Top Armadillos, 6-4

Garrett Stebbins helped his team muscle past the Amarillo Armadillos, 6-4. In the game, the Waimea pinch hitter went 1-1 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Franco Lano earned the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2 innings. His record is now 2-3. The Wind sport a record of 31-53.
Stebbins had a game-changing home run in the top of the ninth. On a 1-2 fastball from Jonathan Huitt, he banged a 2-run home run to left, giving the Wind a 6-4 lead. It was the 11th home run of the year for Stebbins.
"I'm trying to see the ball big, see the ball up in the zone and put the barrel on it," Stebbins told the Waimea Herald.
