Flemming Jacks Two Home Runs in 5-2 Maple Win
|
Mike Flemming led Maple to a win over Pennsylvania. The final score was 5-2. The first baseman had a huge performance. He whacked 3 extra-base hits, including 2 home runs and 1 double. Josh Hall, the winner, improved to 2-2. He held the Butterflies to 1 run on 1 hit over 5.1 innings, while striking out 3 and walking 1. Paul Blevins, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 3rd save.
Early in the game, Flemming had a 2-run home run for Maple. It was his 12th home run of the season and put the Marauders on top, 2-0.
"No time for flexing," said Flemming. "It's always one game at a time."
The Butterflies fall to 11-14 and continue their uninspiring start to the 2065 season.
