Casey Etheredge, who is tied for 5th in the RAAA in complete games with 2, was locked in. The right-hander led the Memphis Privateers to a 4-3 win against the State College Swallowtails at Privateers Grounds. Memphis has rattled off 5 straight wins.

Memphis took a 3-2 lead on Jason McLane's 11th home run of the season. The solo home run, which McLane hit in the bottom of the eighth, left State College pitcher Robby Welsh visibly frustrated.

"Casey giving us the start that he did was huge," said Memphis manager Bryant Thomas.
