|
The exploits of center fielder Jeff Tackett, who is tied for 9th in the RAAA in extra base hits with 36, helped the Waimea Wind defeat the Amarillo Armadillos, 4-1. Tackett was 2 for 2 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Zach Phillips recorded his 2nd save for Waimea. The last-place Wind lifted their record to 33-53.
Aaron Worley, the 27th overall pick in the 2057 draft, had a direct impact on the outcome. Worley contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the fourth inning to put Waimea up, 2-0.
