Hens Pull Off Thrilling 6-4 Win in Extras
The Hendersonville Hens got a hard-earned win over the Pasadena Bumblebees, 6-4, in 11 innings. Mike Clark provided some offensive muscle for Hendersonville. He was 4-6 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. Hendersonville reliever Jared Vanderford picked up the win, raising his record to 5-8. Arthur Alderdice was tagged with the loss. Hendersonville is now 56-30, 2 games up in the RCL AAA Tony La Russa Division.

Clark had a game-changing home run in the top of the 11th. On a 0-2 slider from Arthur Alderdice, he banged a 2-run home run to right, giving the Hens a 6-4 lead. It was the 7th home run of the year for Clark.

"I keep on showing up every day and trying to put up good at-bats and find good pitches to hit," said Clark.
