Pride Lifts Cacti to 14-9 Win
The Albuquerque Cacti beat the Thunder Bay Black Bears by a score of 14-9. Albuquerque center fielder Bill Pride deserved the lion's share of the credit. Pride was 4-5 with a home run, 3 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4 for the Cacti. Humberto Diaz, now 6-3, was credited with the win in 3 innings of relief.
