The Cozumel Beaches beat the State College Swallowtails, 6-3. Cozumel pitcher and Clovis, New Mexico, native Andrew Stith led the way. Cozumel sits in last place in the RCL AAA Tony La Russa Division at 44-57.

Johnny Otteson had a big 2-run triple for the Beaches in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Cozumel leading 3-1 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a fastball from 24-year old right-handed pitcher Eric Church and swatted a triple to left-center. It was his 2nd triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the Beaches ahead, 5-1.

"I give credit to my teammates for this win. We got it done," Stith told the Cozumel Times.
