Freeze Topple Flash, 14-11, as Cox Shines
The Minneapolis Freeze beat the Fairfield Flash in a game in which both teams scored early and often. The final score was 14-11, Freeze. One of the hitting stars was second baseman Kenny Cox. Cox hit 2 home runs. He scored 4 times and drove in 4. With the win, the Freeze improved to 47-40.

In the bottom of the eighth, the Freeze grabbed the lead when Cox hit his 4th home run of the season. The solo home run off Tom Gaston made it 12-11, Minneapolis.

"This game had a little bit of everything," said Cox.
