The Baton Rouge Outlaws withstood an impressive performance by Madison first baseman Jeremy LeJeune to defeat the Muskies, 14-8, at Coca Cola Stadium. LeJeune went 3-5 with a home run and a double. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Baton Rouge reliever Bill Purcell picked up the win, raising his record to 2-2. Doug Decker was tagged with the loss. The loss makes Madison 44-45.

Mark LeJeune chipped in a solo home run for Baton Rouge in the bottom of the eighth. For the game, the right fielder had 2 hits in 5 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 3 RBI.
