Bar Habor Stadium was the site of a competitive game between the Fairfield Flash and Cozumel Beaches.
The Cozumel Beaches managed to get by the Fairfield Flash, 5-4, at Bar Habor Stadium. Cozumel pitcher Steve Lewis set himself apart with his performance. Lewis got the win, improving to 1-10. He gave up 3 hits and walked 4 over 7 innings. He allowed 1 run.
Bob Ramos hit a 2-run double off Curt Gangemi in the bottom of the fifth, which put the Beaches in front, 2-1. In addition to the double, Ramos had 1 single and 1 walk, while going 2 for 2.
"Nice to put this one in the win column," said Ramos.
Cozumel currently is in last place in the RCL AAA Tony La Russa Division at 45-59.
