Baton Rouge Loss Tarnishes Fine Game by Fell
A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the State College Swallowtails and Baton Rouge Outlaws.

Baton Rouge first baseman Abel Fell pounded State College Swallowtails pitchers at Coca Cola Stadium, but it was not enough to keep the Outlaws from falling, 8-6. Fell was 3 for 4 with 2 home runs, while scoring 3 and driving in 4. Jay Clayton wrapped it up, recording his 10th save.

State College designated hitter Justin Sabin delivered a run-scoring walk in the top of the ninth. Overall, he went 3 for 4, picking up 1 home run, 1 single, and 1 double. He scored 2 runs and knocked in 3.

"We'll take some time to unwind," said Sabin, "and then get after it again."

The Swallowtails, at 43-47, sit in 4th place in the RCL AAA Bobby Cox Division.
