Raiders Post 8-1 Win Over Joplin
The Reno Raiders got a stellar performance from pitcher Gilles Bousquet, who handcuffed the Joplin offense en route to a win, 8-1, at The Firepit. Joplin is in the throes of a long losing streak, which is now 13 games.

Reno used a clutch at-bat from Nelson Munuz to capture the win. The center fielder hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Raiders ahead, 6-1. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"We're learning some lessons in the school of hard knocks," philosophized losing manager Daniel Petro.
