The Fairfield Flash torpedoed the Albuquerque Cacti at Albuquerque Sports Stadium. The final score was 4-2, Fairfield. Thiongo Hali went 1-for-3 for the winning team. The 5th-place Flash are now 50-56, the Cacti 54-54.

With Fairfield trailing 1-0 in the top of the fourth, Hali hit a fastball from James McColl for a grand slam home run. It was his 17th home run of the season and put the Flash ahead, 4-1.

"It was a team effort and I thought the guys had a good plan and approach," said Hali after the game.
