Calgary got a decent performance from pitcher Alex Duran, but it wasn't enough to beat the Cozumel Beaches. Cozumel won the Mckinley Park contest, 4-2. Duran threw 8.1 innings allowing 4 runs for the losing team. The winner in relief was David Harkey. He is now 5-6. The left-hander allowed 2 runs on 4 hits in 3.2 innings. Pete Findling recorded the save, his 16th.

In the top of the sixth, Cozumel second baseman Shane Achilles gave his team the lead. With two out and a runner on 2nd, Mugsy hit his 3rd home run of the year. Calgary pitcher Alex Duran surrendered it. With that, the Beaches jumped in front, 3-2.

"Good pitching, clutch hitting," said Cozumel skipper Masato Takagi. "I can't complain."

Cozumel is now 47-59, while Calgary is 69-36.
