LaBorde Hits Two Dingers, Muskies Win, 6-3
The Madison Muskies handed the Peoria Caterpillars a 6-3 defeat at Excavatar Park. First Baseman Jared LaBorde starred for Madison. He slugged 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Doug Decker got credit for the save for Madison. It was his 1st of the year. Their 45-63 record puts the Muskies 5th in the TML AAA Cito Gaston League.

Early in the game, LaBorde had a 2-run home run for Madison. It was his 8th home run of the season and put the Muskies on top, 2-0.

Madison manager Daniel Breuer was pleased with the team's effort. "It was just a good, gutsy performance by everybody," he said.
