Pasadena and Reno duked it out and the Bumblebees came out victorious.

The Pasadena Bumblebees locked up a win at The Hole, knocking off the Reno Raiders, 7-4. On the mound for Pasadena was right-hander Bill Dukes. He played a major role in the triumph. Hicham Munoru was credited with the save, his 8th in 10 tries.

Pasadena took a 5-4 lead on Xavier Karin's 12th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which Karin hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Reno pitcher Scott Bertram visibly frustrated.

"Bill set the tone with his ability to attack the hitters," said Pasadena manager David Williams.

With the win, the Bumblebees have a record of 56-54.
