Outlaws Get Past Thunder Bay for 8-7 Win
Thunder Bay second baseman Dylan Sullivan was sensational. He went 3 for 4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs. But it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Baton Rouge beat the Black Bears, 8-7. Baton Rouge reliever Mike Stone picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Jason Morey was saddled with the loss. Baton Rouge now sits at 58-39, while Thunder Bay falls to 60-36.

Will Walters came through with a big-time hit for Baton Rouge. The designated hitter smacked a solo home run in the top of the ninth inning to give his team the lead, 8-7. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"If you want to be considered a good team, these are the kind of games you have to win," said Baton Rouge manager Rick Childress.
