Schimmel Leads Bison to Win
With right fielder Jonathan Schimmel leading the charge, the Buffalo Bison defeated the Maple Marauders, 19-7, at Thundering Grounds at Bison Stadium. Schimmel, who is tied for 8th in the TML with a .640 slugging percentage, was 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 5. Maple drops to 5-19.

Early in the game, second baseman Jeff Holmes had a bases-clearing double for Buffalo. It was his 6th double of the season and put the Bison on top, 8-5.

"You start putting runs on the board and winning, everyone's going to get excited," said Holmes.
