Pasadena got an elite performance from starting pitcher George White in securing a 2-1 decision over the Billings Mustangs. The third-place Bumblebees go to 58-55.
Pasadena took a 2-1 lead on Jaden Sims's 12th home run of the season. The solo home run, which Sims hit in the top of the seventh, left Billings pitcher Ed Newson visibly frustrated.
"We missed opportunities once again," said losing manager Robbie Doyle.
