Amarillo Slaps 4-2 Loss on Madison

The Amarillo Armadillos had to overcome a fine effort from Madison pitcher Jim Lines to win, 4-2, at The Corral. Lines went 8 innings and allowed 4 runs. David Frisk earned save number 3 this season. Amarillo is now 60-54, while Madison is 45-67.
Bobby Dickens, who is tied for 10th in the TAAA with a .324 batting average, had a direct impact on the outcome. Dickens contributed a run-scoring triple in the top of the fourth inning to put Amarillo up, 3-0.
"We're in a little funk right now and we've just got to get ourselves out of it," said Madison manager Daniel Breuer.
