The Cozumel Beaches topped the Bowling Green Racers, 4-1, in RCL AAA action at Bar Habor Stadium. The standout performance belonged to Cozumel pitcher and Güines, Cuba, native Ruben Fernandez. Cozumel is now 72-44, while Bowling Green is 36-80.

David Colvin, who is rated as the 58th best prospect by BNN, had a timely hit in the bottom of the fifth inning. With no one out and the bases loaded, the Cozumel center fielder hit a run-scoring single. That put the Beaches in front, 2-1.

Colvin called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."
