Wilcox Leads Charge, Waimea Blasts Cats
The Waimea Wind topped the Fort Worth Cats, 13-3, with third baseman Bobby Wilcox playing a big role. Wilcox was 4-5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 3 for the Wind in the win. The Wind sit in last place in the RCL AAA Tony La Russa Division with a record of 39-64.

Khalil Adams hit a 2-run home run off Joey Anderson in the bottom of the sixth, which put the Wind ahead, 3-2. In addition to the homer, Adams had 1 double, while going 2 for 5.
