Good production from pinch hitter Koji Mizuno helped the Waimea Wind topple the Calgary Cowboys, 7-5. Mizuno went 1-1 with a double, while adding 3 RBI for the Wind. The save went to Vince Erbeck, his 1st this season. The third-place Wind now have a record of 64-61.

Mizuno contributed a big hit, a bases-clearing double, for Waimea in the top of the fifth. With his team trailing 5-3, Mizuno took a fastball from Adam McMullin and stroked the double to left-center. His 7th double of the season allowed the Wind to leap in front, 6-5.

Afterward, Calgary manager Thomas Hughes said: "We've hit a rough patch."
