Arellano Lifts Captains to 7-6 Triumph
The Tallahassee Captains and State College Swallowtails obliged fans looking for a good time.

Fernando Arellano led Tallahassee to a triumph over State College. The final score was 7-6. The second baseman went 3 for 4, falling a triple shy of the cycle. He scored 4 runs and added 1 RBI. Tallahassee has won 3 straight, while State College has lost 3 in a row.

Had Bob Sanders not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 3rd, Sanders hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 7-6, in favor of the Captains.

"I'm trying to see the ball big, see the ball up in the zone and put the barrel on it," Arellano told the Tallahassee Times.
