Eclipse Stun Earthquakes, 4-3
|
Chicago picked up a win at Millennium Field, bumping off the San Francisco Earthquakes, 4-3. Pitcher Oscar Zegarra was a major reason the Eclipse emerged victorious. Travis Wilson, 3-0, earned the win in relief. He allowed no runs on 2 hits in 1.1 innings. With the win, Chicago elevates its record to 15-10.
Jalen Nelloms hit a run-scoring triple off Alejandro Anaya in the bottom of the eighth, which put the Eclipse in front, 4-3. Nelloms had 1 single, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 2 for 4.
"Oscar giving us the start that he did was huge," said Chicago manager Zayar Adelabu.
