Minneapolis starter Ken Aubin pitched effectively against the Indianapolis Ambition at The Ice Box. The right-hander led his team to a win, 6-3. Franklin Sprague recorded the save, making him 12 for 14. The Freeze bumped their record to 60-46 with this latest triumph.

Minneapolis center fielder Manuel Cuebas contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the second. With two down, he hit a splitter to right field for a 2-run single. It was his 15th hit of the season and put the Freeze ahead, 3-0.

"We had situations where we should have got some runs in, but we didn't get the runs in," said losing manager Zi-jun Gou.
