Fidel Martinez led the Quebec Armada to a nifty 14-6 win over the Cabo San Lucas Toreros. The Quebec designated hitter, who is tied for 3rd in the TML in RBI with 24, was a force of nature. He banged out 3 extra-base hits, including 2 home runs and 1 double. Jason Goodrich was the winner. Over 5.2 innings, he yielded 5 runs on 5 hits, with no walks and 4 strikeouts. Getting the save was Alfredo Mora, his 3rd.

In the top of the sixth, the Armada grabbed the lead when Martinez hit his 9th home run of the season. The grand slam home run off Alejandro Castro made it 7-4, Quebec.

With the loss, Cabo San Lucas drops to 13-12.
