Calgary registered a win at Top of the Hill by beating the Bowling Green Racers, 4-3. Pitcher Dave Rivera was one reason why the Hitmen triumphed. The 4th-place Racers have lost 4 straight games.

Roy Perron came through with a big-time hit for Calgary. The pinch hitter smacked a solo home run in the top of the ninth inning to give his team the lead, 4-3. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"If you ever get this game figured out," said Bowling Green manager Ron Jeremy, "let me know."
