Big Day for Farrell in 8-5 Beaches Win

Conditions were not ideal but Cozumel and Fairfield were able to put their game in the books.
Powered by Zach Farrell, the Cozumel Beaches downed the Fairfield Flash, 8-5. Farrell went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 3 times and driving in 2 for the Beaches. Justin Bissey earned the save for Cozumel, his 1st of the year.
C.J. Parrish had a big run-scoring double for the Beaches in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Cozumel leading 3-2 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a fastball from Victor Ramirez, who leads the RAAA in strikeouts with 171, and swatted a double to right. It was his 22nd double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Beaches ahead, 4-2.
"The vibe's good," said Cozumel manager Masato Takagi. "We've got to keep it going."
Cozumel's winning streak has reached 5 games.
