Eager fans turned out for a matchup between the Amarillo Armadillos and Indianapolis Ambition.

The Amarillo Armadillos pinned a convincing loss on the Indianapolis Ambition, 10-3, at Ken Griffey Jr. Plaza. Danny Aurelio was a main factor in the win. He went 4 for 4 with a home run and 3 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 for Amarillo. Gregg Boucher, now 3-3, was credited with the win in 2.1 innings of relief. He allowed no runs on 1 hit, while striking out 0 and walking 0.

Amarillo relied on the bat of Carlos Ayala to get the win. The designated hitter ripped a run-scoring triple in the top of the first inning to put the Armadillos ahead, 1-0. For the game, Ayala had 1 double and 1 triple in 5 at-bats.
