The Billings Mustangs spoiled a good performance by Minneapolis third baseman Antonio Zuniga, bumping off Minneapolis, 6-5, at Cobb Field. Zuniga went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Billings is now 46-81, while Minneapolis is 59-68.

Mike O'Neill hit a run-scoring double off Francisco Rodriguez in the bottom of the seventh, which put the Mustangs in front, 5-4. In addition to the double, O'Neill had 1 single, while going 2 for 5.
