Big Day for Heyward as Freeze Down Raiders, 6-4
Rob Heyward was a major contributor to the 6-4 Minneapolis win over Reno. The Freeze third baseman went 3-3 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. The Freeze saw their win-loss record go to 63-47. At the same time, the Raiders fell to 44-66.

Minneapolis took a 5-2 lead on Heyward's 14th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which he hit off David McPhail in the bottom of the sixth, propelled Minneapolis to the win.

"When I'm in the lineup, I always feel like we're going to win the game," said Heyward.
