Starting Pitcher Jeremy Turner was lights out, as the Bighorn Bison beat the Milwaukee Millers, 4-1. Nick Merritt locked down his 4th save. The Millers, now 11-19, continue their poor start.
Bob Ferreira, who led the RCL in wins above replacement with 6.0 in 2063, had a direct impact on the outcome. Ferreira contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put Bighorn up, 3-1.
"It was a good effort all around," said Ferreira.
