The Cozumel Beaches topped the Calgary Cowboys, 9-4, with first baseman Eddie Somers playing a big role. Somers was 2-3 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 3 times for the Beaches in the win. Cozumel pitcher Dusty Miranda earned the win, hiking his record to 2-0. Chad Allred suffered the loss. Brandon Hubacek closed the door for Cozumel, picking up his 3rd save of the year.

Johnny Otteson helped out the Cozumel cause in the top of the seventh inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the second baseman was 1 for 5.
