Freeze Earn 10-9 Win Versus Raiders
The Minneapolis Freeze clipped the Reno Raiders, 10-9, in 13 innings at House of Pain. The standout performance belonged to Minneapolis pitcher and San Diego, California, native Matthew Otto. Minneapolis reliever Matthew Otto was credited with the win. His record goes to 4-6. Nick Elder took the loss for Reno. Minneapolis currently is in 5th place in the TML AAA Joe Torre Division at 66-70.

The game was at a stalemate until second baseman John Day came to bat in the top of the 13th. Facing Reno pitcher Willie Aragon, he hit a 2-2 fastball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Minneapolis on top, 10-9.

"We battled our tails off to get this win," said Minneapolis manager Ben Jeffcoat.
