The Bowling Green Racers downed the Albuquerque Cacti, 3-0, at Top of the Hill. Bowling Green pitcher Steve Cresci definitely brought his A-game. The save went to David Heisler, number 17 for him. The 4th-place Racers hiked their record to 69-70.
Jason Hansen, who is tied for 7th in the RAAA in RBI with 89, chipped in a 2-run home run for Bowling Green in the bottom of the third. For the game, the designated hitter had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 2 runs batted in.
"We did the things it takes to win a ballgame," said Bowling Green manager Ron Jeremy.
