The Antioch Coal Miners beat the Amarillo Armadillos, 6-2, at The Coal Mine. Antioch center fielder George Blackburn had the hot bat. He was 2-4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 and driving in 3. Antioch is now 82-59, Amarillo 75-66.

Kyle Higgins, who is tied for 3rd in the TAAA in hits with 167, took Amarillo hurler Mike Batten deep in the bottom of the third. His 2-run home run put the Coal Miners on top, 3-1. In all, Higgins had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 3.
