The Reno Raiders topped the Peoria Caterpillars, 8-5, in TML AAA action at Excavatar Park. The game was highlighted by the performance of Reno pitcher Gilles Bousquet. Bousquet picked up the win for Reno, going 6.2 innings. He gave up 3 runs on 5 hits. He now sports a record of 15-6. Reno now has a record of 71-69 with the win.

Chad Esparza came through with a big-time hit for Reno. The catcher smacked a grand slam home run in the top of the seventh inning to give his team the lead, 4-3. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.
