The Albuquerque Cacti picked up a win, 6-3, over the Cozumel Beaches at Albuquerque Sports Stadium. Ignacio Pertorini led the charge. The Schio, Veneto native was 3 for 4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs for Albuquerque. Jack Anthony earned the save, his 8th. The second-place Cacti are 65-56.

Albuquerque right fielder Danny Torres contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the first. With two down, he hit a curveball to center field for a 2-run single. It was his 24th hit of the season and put the Cacti ahead, 3-0.

"We did the things that it takes to win a game," said Pertorini.
